R&D Engineer
R&D Engineer
Design or modify mechanical systems or components and create detailed 3d models, drawings, and
specifications.
* Coordinate the procurement of mechanical components/equipment and identify sources of critical
parts and resolve technical issues
*Design, develop and implement mechanical tooling, fixturing, and measurement devices used in
product development or manufacturing.
* Support Risk Management activities to ensure robust and reliable designs.
* Write, review and edit engineering documentation related to assigned projects, such as technical
reports, work instructions, test methods, process development documentation, qualification documents
for design verification and design validation studies.
* Participate in multi-functional project team meetings and design reviews. Study design input
requirements and translate them into specifications, engineering drawings, tooling solutions, and
prototyping protocols.
